Blessings Coffee & Creative is the umbrella for creative minds, a playground for painting, word creation, the corner shop for flowers, and deli products from the farm, created by the hands of Welma Van Rhyn Esterhuyse.

To live a creative life, you must lose the fear of being wrong. Here, workshops are offered, children’s parties, feel-good things, memories, and we are once again connected through sitting, drinking coffee, listening to one another, and helping each other. We eat pancakes filled with things we love, milk tart right in there that takes you back to the past, soda floats like days in small-town cafés. Delicious freshly baked bread, sourdough, Catherine’s Turkish bread, olive bread, even gluten-free bread, lavender and fynbos flowers, wreaths, de Fayebosch deli products, farm water beer. Dirk’s pottery, Liefmooigoed, Rhen, Pat, artists do monthly exhibitions and offer workshops. Each one is unique.

This coffee and creative shop on the corner of 11th Avenue is a house of belonging. It’s a heart place, a safe harbor. We create something from nothing, something that always stays with us.
